Kyara wood is the main component of this exquisite incense. Kyara Taikan is made from high quality jinkoh wood. This tree belongs to the Daphne family, native to Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia. Protecting itself from bacteria, infections and fungi, for decades, a resin extract with a rare, unusual smell has been formed inside the tree and in the roots. However, the most valuable examples of the smell are found in the ground in the roots that died hundreds of years ago. The smell is so rich that it is difficult to describe.

Kongo Kyara Taikan incense allows us to enjoy a unique scent. The scent that Japanese nobility have enjoyed for centuries in elaborate kodo ceremonies. Incense sticks are packed in a wooden box, covered with a golden cloth. In the middle is a gilded incense holder.
