Purple dawn. In creating this incense, the Kodo masters were inspired by the rising sun when the sun illuminates the clouds with purple. Murasaki is purple, the light of the clouds at dawn, and in Japan the symbol of the hopes of youth and the elegant color of the aristocracy.
